Oregano Compound Oil
A Ready-to-Use Botanical Powerhouse for Skin, Wellness, and Home
Oregano Compound Oil is a deeply purifying, nutrient-dense herbal blend formulated to refresh and protect the skin without striping its natural moisture. Functioning as an expertly pre-diluted, skin-safe remedy, it gently clarifies the complexion, delivers deep comforting warmth, and provides a thorough, refreshing cleanliness.
Infused with an enchanting botanical scent of pure, pungent oregano, this formula delivers essential plant nutrients and antioxidant defense without the harsh, dangerous burn of raw essential oils. Unlike concentrated oregano essential oils that can irritate or damage sensitive tissue, Oregano Compound Oil is balanced with organic olive and sunflower base oils. The result is a comfortable finish that absorbs quickly, leaving no oily residue while leaving your skin and environment feeling revived, protected, and balanced.

Ingredients
Organic. Every cultivated ingredient we buy carries the USDA Organic seal. Remember: Organic does not mean free of risk. Certified organic ingredients can still cause irritation, allergies, or sensitivities in some people, but buying organic is a healthy beginning. We keep researching natural, organic options, and we stay close to our roots: Karen's Botanicals began with plants and will continue with that original health pledge.
Wild-crafted.
Many of our ingredients are gathered from their natural habitats, and while there is no USDA certification for wild-crafted plants, we only harvest very small amounts at each gathering. We take great care, so the land can sustain itself, and we stay mindful of the native life around every plant we select.
Cruelty-free.
We have never tested our products on animals, and we don't buy ingredients tested on animals or from companies that test them. We simply never started, because it was unthinkable, and our customers held us to that standard.
Packaging
Moving beyond plastic. We're replacing plastic with glass and metal, and it hasn't been easy. For many years we only used American-made containers, because shipping them across the ocean adds to their environmental cost. Finding the right US-made glass has taken time. Glass is durable, reusable, and recyclable, and several of our products have already made a switch. We are moving one item at a time, testing each to make sure it ships safely in glass.
Shipping.
Until a few years ago, we shipped in bubble wrap. Now we cushion orders with paper weave, or with fiber material when paper isn't available.
Small batches
We make our products in small batches and in measured amounts. That keeps waste low and our formulas fresh, and heavy on the herbal material.
What we're still working on
We keep exploring better materials, better suppliers, and fewer disposables, all in the service of a healthy planet and healthy people. We welcome your suggestions.
