Pennyroyal Ginger Oil is a topical emmenagogue aid, which means it promotes menstrual flow and can often serve as an aid for reducing menstrual cramping. The organic ginger found in this formula has a comfortable warming effect, which is also soothing for menstrual cramps. Ginger has long been an aid for settling an upset stomach as it increases circulation.  To use for cramp relief, massage one-half to one-unce of Pennyroyal Ginger Oil into the belly for warmth and for easing the discomfort of menstrual cramps. Enjoy the warm, calming aroma.
 
Perhaps an odd afterthought for its primary purpose of pain relief, but Pennyroyal Ginger Oil is useful as a natural and effective insect repellent, especially for fleas. Fleas simply do not like the smell of Pennyroyal, and so they tend to leave any pet wearing a dab of Pennyroyal Ginger Oil. If you want to use this oil for pest control, rub a teaspoon into your animal's fur and watch the fleas run away. Your pet will be grateful. Take care and do not overdose your pet on this oil.
